al man - imageHome At Last (HAL) was a ministry created in May of 2002 to provide a more concrete response to homelessness at Back Bay Mission. The program provides permanent housing and supportive services to homeless persons who are also disabled, placing them into leased apartments that are identified, furnished, and paid for by Back Bay Mission. Staff member Scott Williams administrates the program, providing case management to those served. He also does intentional outreach in soup kitchens, shelters, beaches, and the streets in order to develop relationships of trust with the homeless community and identify persons eligible for the Home At Last or other homeless services.

Home At Last is primarily funded by a Housing and Urban Development (HUD) grant.
